Managing Stress and Pressure at Work

Staying Effective When Demands Are High

£200.00£160.00

Workplace pressure is unavoidable, but unmanaged stress can damage wellbeing, judgement, relationships and performance. This one-day course helps participants understand how stress develops, how it affects the body and mind, and what they can do to respond more effectively. Learners will explore the difference between motivating pressure and harmful stress, identify their personal triggers and recognise early warning signs.

The course provides practical tools for managing workload, emotional pressure, competing demands and difficult situations. Participants will examine how habits, boundaries, communication and recovery routines influence resilience. Through guided reflection and workplace exercises, they will develop strategies to stay calm, focused and effective when demands are high. The course does not promise to remove pressure from work, but it helps people respond to it more confidently and sustainably.

By the end of the day, participants will have a practical action plan to protect wellbeing and maintain performance.
