Giving Feedback That Improves Performance

Conversations That Build Clarity, Confidence and Results

£200.00£160.00

Feedback is one of the most powerful tools managers have for improving performance, but it is often delayed, softened, avoided or delivered poorly. This one-day course helps managers give feedback that is clear, respectful and genuinely useful. Participants will explore what makes feedback effective, why people sometimes resist it, and how to create a feedback culture that supports learning and accountability.

The course introduces practical feedback models that help managers focus on behaviour, impact, expectations and improvement rather than personal judgement. Learners will practise giving positive, developmental and corrective feedback in realistic workplace situations. They will also learn how to manage defensiveness, encourage reflection and agree practical next steps. The course places strong emphasis on confidence, clarity and consistency.

By the end of the day, participants will be able to give feedback more naturally and effectively, helping individuals understand what is working, what needs to change and how to improve performance.
