This one-day course introduces early career professionals to the essential interpersonal skills needed to work well with others, communicate effectively and build credibility at work. Participants will explore how to make a positive impression, build rapport, listen actively, ask better questions and respond professionally in everyday workplace situations.

The course also covers how to handle misunderstandings, receive feedback, manage tone and adapt communication to different people. Through practical exercises, group discussion and realistic workplace scenarios, learners will develop greater confidence in working with colleagues, managers, customers and stakeholders.

By the end of the day, participants will understand that strong people skills are not just about being friendly; they are about building trust, showing respect and contributing positively to team and organisational success.
