Decision-Making Under Pressure

Thinking Clearly When the Stakes Are High

£230.00

Pressure can narrow thinking, increase emotional reactions and lead to rushed or avoided decisions. This one-day course helps participants make better decisions when time is limited, information is incomplete or the stakes are high. Learners will explore how stress, uncertainty and bias influence judgement, and how to create enough structure to think clearly under pressure.

The course introduces practical tools for assessing options, weighing risks, identifying consequences and choosing a course of action. Participants will examine how to balance speed with quality, involve others appropriately and communicate decisions with confidence. Through realistic scenarios and guided exercises, they will practise making decisions in challenging workplace situations. The course is ideal for managers, team leaders and professionals who must act decisively while maintaining judgement and accountability.

By the end of the day, participants will have a practical framework for staying calm, thinking clearly and making timely decisions under pressure.
